Mitch certainly didn’t mean to make accusations, but seeing Alex made him just so...defensive for some reason. Alex must have felt defensive as well, seeing as how aggravated he acted. He took a drag from his cigarette, keeping an eye on Alex with curiosity. It had been a long while, and it was apparent neither of them were planning on letting go of anything.

That certainly didn’t mean Mitch wasn’t going to try. He stamped his cig out, then walked towards Alex again. “Sorry ‘bout all that,” He sighed with a shrug. “Just wasn’t expecting you to be here, was all.”
