Red needed that. Red sat up and wrapped his arms around his smaller friend, hugging him tightly in return and resting his chin on Manny’s head. He smiled reassuringly. “Thanks, I needed that.” he said quietly. He wasn’t quite sure what he’d do without his friends, especially Manny.
Manny nodded slowly, nuzzling Red's chin. Red was like his family, and he needed him. If he had nightmares, Red was the one he would go to. So now it was nice to help out his friend.
"Mhmm." He cuddled closer, making sure that Red felt safe. Red would do that for him, so this must work right?
