In the dim light of candlelight, Quincy sat in the dining area of his new studio. He didn't have much, truthfully-- just an old cardboard table with a few folding chairs and an even older lumpy little love seat not too far from his table. Cardboard boxes lay strewn about in little piles, but he didn't own a whole lot so the current clutter wasn't too bad. Most of it was kitchenware and his little indoor gardening tools. A small open box sat in front of him with a few tea lights and incense next to it, and a hardcover book in his hands.
When he heard a knock on the door, however, the young paladin frowned and lowered the hardback to the table. Quincy didn't recall explicitly sharing his new address with anyone aside from family and, so, he had a good feeling who it was. Only his brother would show up uninvited and without notice. "Coming," he called, marking his place with a loose napkin before he pushed himself to his feet and shuffled toward the door. Unlocking it, he peeked out, hazel gray hues falling upon the taller male standing outside. "Figures. You couldn't even message me to tell me you were dropping by?" he questioned as he stepped aside to open the door further and gesture Demetri inside.
