I liked how, at the end of the conversation, Yuder made it clear that he would continue to be Yuder Aile from the Airik mountains, but that he would like to have a closer relationship with Helrem. Helrem herself wasn't desperately hoping that Yuder was actually her grandson, because knowing that at least someone survived that tragedy was enough to ease her burden. Besides, Helrem already valued and cherished Yuder for exactly who he was and didn't need a blood relationship to want to be closer to him.
And I think that was a good conclusion to the conversation, without a definitive answer to Yuder's exact origin, but still showing how that answer isn't really necessary.
