I think I’m obsessed with drawing fighting characters (c)
Just Coolin' While Kicking Your Azz
This is easily the most easy-breezy, mellow fighting game stage music I've ever heard.
Capcom VS SNK 2 - Fight with the wind (Kinderdijk Stage Theme) OST - YouTube

Decided to pop in a copy of Capcom vs SNK 2 EO to see how it compares graphically to the PS2 version, and if it benefits at all from the GC’s component output.
It certainly doesn’t have the flickering problem of PS2 version, but it seems the filter they used to accomplish this has also resulted in a general softening in the picture. Where the PS2 version has extremely sharp and defined sprites lettering and assets in general, the Gamecube’s blend together slightly; It’s easier on the eyes for regular play for sure, but for pure graphical fidelity, the PS2 beats it out without a doubt. Really makes me wonder if Capcom decided to filter ALL of their offerings on the Gamecube.
Another curiosity is that while the GC and PS2 versions match up almost exactly when switching between them, the DC version seems to be scaled differently, resulting in altered placement of the characters in both distance from each other as well as how far they’re placed into the background/stage assets.
Holy hell that’s a lot of edge wobble.
Dreamcast is being displayed over RGB SCART; PS2 and Gamecube over Component.
Definitely in my top 10 favorite fightan themes
god bless this beautiful game
