On April 20, 1534 Jacques Cartier began his first voyage to what is today the east coast of Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador.

So I've never posted about AC before but I wanted to share my dream address so y'all could come visit my island, Cape Ray! It's still a work in progress and I don't spend too much time playing, but I think it's rather cool and thought some of you might wanna come see what's up

Newfoundland officially joined Canada at midnight on March 31, 1949.

John Cabot landed in North America at Newfoundland (June 24, 1497) leading the first European exploration of the region since the Vikings.

Jacques Cartier visited Newfoundland on May 10, 1534.

Newfoundland became a dominion within the British Empire on September 26, 1907.

On December 6, 2001, an amendment was made to the Constitution of Canada to change the province’s official name to Newfoundland and Labrador.

Newfoundland changed time to three and a half hours West of Greenwich on March 30, 1935.
