Hi, can you please explain that Katy Perry twitter post? Not like I want to get into an argument about it, I just don't understand what she's trying to say.

Here’s what was going on that prompted Katy Perry’s tweet:
Nicki Minaj tweeted yesterday how black women don’t get the recognition they deserve even though they have just as much influence as other white artists. (this is what I gathered from tumblr..I haven’t actually seen the tweets, sorry!)

So then Katy Perry posted that tweet because apparently she needed to have input ? I’m not entirely sure what it was referencing but I’m assuming it has to do with Bad Blood supposedly being about Katy Perry. I guess Taylor swift and Katy Perry don’t get along. Something about how Katy stole some of Taylor’s dancers right in the middle of her tour ?? plus some other things I don’t know about. I’m not really sure but here is why she shouldn’t have said anything at all: x (basically she was further derailing what Nicki was saying in the first place)
