Well, technically yes and no.
*Note this is only for my bookstore, it might be different with yours, you should probably call and ask to double check*
What we had to do is pre-order his book, which comes with a ticket. All the ticket does is ensure our place in line. We're number 175, so even if we're the 850th person to get there that day, we can jump up to 175. Then he signs our book.
But again, it might be different with your bookstore, so call and double check :)
