For Father’s Day, Takeshi brought his father a brand new set of kitchen knives. He knew the older man has been eyeing that new set for months, and Takeshi has been saving up for the last few weeks so he could finally buy it as a Father Day’s gift. The look on Tsuyoshi’s face was enough to put Takeshi in a good mood the whole day, and as he set out for school, whistling under his breath, he felt his own lips twitched into a brilliant smile at the look of utter surprise and happiness on his father’s face. 

“Good morning!” He called out cheerfully as he spied his two friends waiting for him by the school gate. Gokudera, bright-cheeked and wide smiles originally, immediately soured when he spotted Takeshi walking towards them. He growled in annoyance, but it was half-hearted, and Takeshi has gotten used to the bomber’s snappish attitude when it came to him. 

“You made Tenth waited for five minutes, you idiot!” Gokudera chided loudly. Takeshi merely laughed and patted his friend’s back, ignoring the latter’s affronted spluttering as the Rain immediately turned to look at Tsuna.  

“Sorry I made you both wait. Let’s get to class!” He said, smile not faltering in the least even as he felt something really wrong. It was not a feeling that screamed danger, since his hitman’s instincts were quiet and docile. While he might not have Tsuna’s hyper intuition, he was still perceptive enough to notice when his friend was feeling... off.  But he decided not to pry at the moment and chose to observe Tsuna more carefully today.

A glance around the small space proved to help very little; there was nothing Heine could do. With a heavy sigh, he sat himself down, arms resting on bent knees. Eyes fixed on the door, the albino wondered just how long he was going to wait before the elevator was fixed. Heine had to go to a larger shopping center; the eye-patched idiot had wanted something and told Heine to get it. The only place that sold it was a town away, meaning Heine had to travel. He was fine with that; it meant time away from that city, and from the idiot. He had only entered the elevator to see if it'd save time. Only, it ended up breaking down or some shit before it reached the floor the shop was at. Not only was the elevator broken down, but there was a small brunet in the elevator with him. At least it's not the red-headed eyepatch; it'd been hell to stay here with him.
