This has truly been a year of ups and downs. January 10 I was laid off from my job at the Shipyard. My wife was a full time student and that was our only source of income. I didn't know what I was going to do. Thankfully I was able to get unemployment to help out and Nakita was able to concentrate on her classes. She ended up getting a job as a LPN before she graduated. Income taxes can in and we were able to get another vehicle. While searching for another job I continued to train and was finally able to make it to Chicago for Colibri's Batizado. I also started a job a week after I got back. I had the opportunity to test for the local police department and failed the test by 1 point. Yes 1 point but I don't let that kill my confidence. A week after the police test a friend of mine put me on with another job and they hired me on the spot. More pay more hours but it also allows me more time to spend with my family and train. I don't know what careers are ahead of me but I do know that as long as I have me family and Capoeira, that is enough for me to keep going. I want to thank everyone that has supported me and kept me motivated when I felt thing would continue to get worse #GrupoCapoeiraBrasil #MestrePaulinhoSabiá #FormadaColibri #ColibriCapoeira #Capoeira #GangaZumbaGCB #CapoeiraBrasilVA #ProgressNotPerfection #CapoeiraVibe #CapoeiraLife #Capoeira4All #WeMoveForLife #CapoeiraRegional #Capoeiragem #Axé #Capoeirista #InstaCapoeira #CapoeiraExpression #Acrobatics #Fitness #Movement #TemJogo #Vadiar #Lifestyle #CapoeiraArte #Capoeirando #CapoeiraLifestyle #MartialArts @chicagocapoeiracenter @capoeira4all @capoeiramania @capo3ira @capoeiraflow @capoeiraarte
