I was bad at the thrift store yesterday and brought home another machine 🙈
#vintage sewing machine#vintage singer#singer 217#singer meritt#capri 217#idk how i keep finding rare machines#i cant find jack shit for info online about this machine#no bobbin case and have no clue which one i can use with it#so thats annoying#but it sounds like this will be a great machine for collars 👀#if anyone has info on this machine pls hmu#i now have 5 vintage machines and one old but modern machine#i did not mean for this to become a new obsession#but it has crept up on me#oopsie#gonna have to rewire it#i WAS thinking i needed a zigzag machine so this is good actually#and it also straight stitches and has reverse#ive heard its pretty heavy duty and can sew leather#so this might end up being my workhorse actually#it might have to be because i cant get the tension tight enough on my treadle for collars unfortunately
