I’ll answer for Captain Richardson!

🕊:  Would your OC ever get married or are they already wed? If they’re married, describe what their wedding was like!

-Yes, he was already married! Erich and Nora were married in a small military chapel when he came back from Anchorage on leave before he was shipped out again. He was in his dress uniform, and she was in a simple sundress. The ceremony was performed by the bishop of the LDS congregation near the chapel, and was very quick and painless. (They basically eloped, okay?) I can’t comment on re-marriage, as there will be stuff about that later. 😉

💎:  Does your OC collect anything? Is there a reason? When did they start and is it beginning to turn into a little bit of a hoarding issue? What do they do with their collection?

- I’ve answered this on before, found here!

🔥  If your OC known for having temper tantrums? If not, what gets them really angry? What makes their blood BOIL? Is there anyway to calm them down or are they unstoppable? What are they like when they’re angry? Do they take it out on their loved ones?

- Captain Richardson isn’t really known to have temper tantrums. People taking advantage of others gets him mad, and people both taking advantage of and disrespecting others will get a royally pissed Richardson in return. He’s not a loud angry person, but a quiet and scary one. The best way to calm him down when he’s angry is to let the situation play out; it’ll generally resolve itself when the people who made him angry realize who they are dealing with.

💥 When your OC loses all hope, who do they turn to first? What helps make them feel better? What calms them down and reassures them? Why?

- The first person Captain Richardson turns to is Piper, followed by Nick Valentine. Piper, because they become each other’s confidant, and Nick because Nick has memories of what life was like before the bombs. To make things better, sleep is honestly the best thing.

Oooh, these are some very interesting questions! I’ll answer them for both OCs!

☾ Sleep Headcanon

Both characters have sleeping issues, but they’re very different.

Luke Williams can sleep through a mini-nuke detonation, but he never dreams pleasantly. A side effect of the stun grenade the Enclave uses against him in Vault 87 and unresolved trauma means he will never have sweet dreams again (This plays a big role in why he’s such a bitter and asshole-ish guy).

Captain Richardson is stuck sleeping like he is still in the military: his sleep is deep enough to recharge him and keep him healthy but still light enough that anything louder than a firecracker wakes him up instantly.

★ Talent Headcanon

Luke is wickedly good at pool. I headcanon that that’s something in Vault 101′s recreation area, and he has a natural flair for it, which infuriates the Tunnel Snakes to no end. Several times they’ve tried to out-hustle Luke at it, only to have them angrily walk away with their tails tucked between their legs with begrudging respect.

Erich is mechanically minded, having studied mechanical engineering before the Anchorage Campaign. This allows him to work on his weapons and armor to fully customize them to his liking.

⊗ Phobia Headcanon

Luke Williams (my Lone Wanderer OC) has acrophobia (the fear of heights). This manifests itself as not wanting his feet to leave the ground. Jumping and such is fine, but not being on stable footing? No way. Climbing a tree or rock face? Nuh-uh. Flying in a vertibird? HELL NO.

Captain Erich Richardson (my OG Sole Survivor OC), on the other hand, has what I describe borderline thanatophobia (the fear of death or ceasing to be). I say borderline because Richardson is more afraid of death taking his loved ones in a situation that he could have prevented/averted.

Headcanon Time!

So, I recently finished the quest to restore power to Nuka-World (SPOILERS), and gained access to use the workshop at the Nuka-World Red Rocket. It was when I started building a little bit around the settlement that I realized something…

YOU CAN”T BUILD MINUTEMEN ARTILLERY CANNONS THERE.

I’m mildly annoyed by this.Anyways, this builds into my headcanon. During the events of Nuka-World, Captain Richardson worked with the raiders for as long as he could, hoping to keep them contained within Nuka-World. However, When Gage mentioned the idea to launch raiding excursions into the Commonwealth, Erich knew that it was time to stop them.

So, He gets in touch with Preston Garvey covertly to inform him of his plan, then goes on his rampage against the raiders. By the time Preston arrives to the Red Rocket in Nuka, Erich has restored power to the park and wiped out a majority of the gangs. The two (along with a few extra Minutemen with Preston) then began building a Minuteman outpost at the Red Rocket, complete with artillery cannons and what not. The traders at Nuka-World are massively grateful for this, and actively send supplies to the outpost. Remnants of the gangs remain in the various parks, deep within the bowels of it (think how hard it would be to clear a post-apocalyptic theme park {that’s by my guess, two to three times the size of Disneyland}?). I guess it would take another year or so to completely secure the park to the point where traders can establish permanent settlements.

In the coming months (and eventually years), the Red Rocket Outpost (shortened to Outpost Red within the ranks of the Minutemen) becomes an establishment on-par with The Castle, which allows Nuka-World to become a prosperous place.

Anyways, that’s my thoughts!

Sorry it took so long responding to this!

Luke is heavily attached to Harkness/A3-21. Like, they become really good friends. Both are out in the Wasteland trying to figure out who they really are, and so they become really good friends due to their kindred spirits. Luke even uses A3-21′s plasma rifle for the rest of his life, keeping it in prime condition.

Erich keeps Shaun’s true nature of being a synth under heavy wraps, trusting that secret with only his most trusted associates: Piper, Nick, Preston, and Danse are the only ones who know the truth. Curie has her suspicions, but knows better than to ask. Even though the Institute is gone, people are still wary of rogue synths, with some individuals believing that synths are still being manufactured.
