Day 23: { Captain Garion }

Hollyberry: “....Wokou?”

Hollyberry blinked as he found himself ontop on a small sailboat inside the armor of a traditional Japanese Wokou Pirate Armor, floating on the open sea. Usually He wouldn’t mind being within the water if he was close to shore or could easily get out, but he was in the middle of nowhere with no clue of how he got there or how he’s gonna get back.. not to mention he also had to figure out where this worlds nutcracker was.

He then felt something rock his little boat. He glanced down into the water and saw the large silhouette of something in the water submerged deeper beneath him... Uh oh.

Within moments a Large Orca Emerged from the water with a mighty splash, nearly knocking the poor little sailboat over. He only had a few moments to steady himself and get a good look at the creature.

All he saw was Teeth, a Harpoon strapped to its Back, and the figure of Something stuck in its.. Blowhole? wait- THATS THE NUTCRACKER OF THIS WORLD!!

It was obvious he had found his next opponent- Well.. his next opponent more or less found him. Well, Let’s See if This Little Wokou can fair well against a Killer Whale!

Garion, Playfully smacking Holly on the back: “For someone who hasn’t got their sea legs, You fought like a true pirate! I appreciate you pulling me from that wayward whales grips.”

Hollyberry: “ I-It w.. was my pleasure.. Sir-”

Garion: “ Call me Garion.”

Hollyberry: “ Hollyberry.”

Garion: “ What I don’t understand is how that beast got into such a frenzy- I’ve seen angry whales but none quite like that.”

Hollyberry: “ A lot of things have gone awry all throughout the multiverse lately, I’m working to help fix things.”

Garion: “ Well good on you Lad! Quite a noble quest. Since you helped me out, How’s about I help you get to shore?”

Hollyberry: “ That would be so much appreciated- thank you” qwq

Garion: “ Then let’s set Sail!”

Hollyberry: “Aye Aye!”

This year, I’m turning all the nutcrackers into whatever animal chosen by their creators, with an added bit of holiday flare!

With day 23, we have @ladyfluffbutt‘s Captain Garion as a Clydesdale Horse! As a pirate nutcracker, I decide to give him some more maritime Christmas decorations.

Nutcracker Month 2021: Day #1

“You were warned about the mountainous forest up North. Not only were the villages sparse but there were talks of a beast roaming about. A creature with blades for hands and a Demon’s Eye so terrifying that gazing into it would kill you long before its sharp appendages could ever reach you. Even the Rat King’s army didn’t venture anywhere near where you were planning to go, but you didn’t buy the stories.”


“…Ya should’ve at least listened to the warnings about the violent snow storms.”

“Now you and your nutcracker companion(s) are stuck trudging through snow that is currently up to your knees and hardly able to see more than ten feet ahead of you. It’s getting so cold…..” 


“As you start to really curse yourself while your companion helps you up from your fifth fall, a figure begins to form through the whiteout. You call out in desperation, not even taking a second thought as to who in the world would ever be out in this. The figure draws closer and soon an unknown Nutcracker appears before you. He’s gripping both his swords, his left gripping the hilt as he stops and stares at you and your companion(s).” “He’s scarred and torn all over, obviously no stranger to combat, but what draws you attention is the odd glow that originates from the eye hidden under his bangs.”

“He huffs before speaking you in a low and gruff voice, wanting to know who you are and what business you had journeying out into the storm.”

——— Oof this took a bit. Thought I’d try doing a sort of P.O.V thing for nutcracker month since my characters are more like a long sidequest/DLC type. We gon learn about dis boi and all the crud he’s been through!

Nutcracker Month 2021: Day #3

Your group followed George and Vernette to a very small village beside a frozen lake. You all come to the back of a bakery where a young dog lady greets you and lets you in. You hear her and George bicker a little as you quickly shuffle into the warm building and huddled by the fire.

Vernette hopped over and draped her cloak on a rack nearby before sitting across from you and your companion(s). She began firing off questions excitedly and with an innocence that convinced you more that she was a kid.

“Where are you from?”

“What’cha do for a livin’?”

Then she looked at your nutcracker companion(s).

“Do you think your from the same place as Georgie? You look kinda similar.”

Your nutcracker shakes their head, replying that they didn’t know and didn’t recognize him.You look at George as he comes into the room and ask him about himself and about his memory loss. He and Vernette tell the tale of how he was found by her and her Mother.

He even went as far as to brush his bangs upwards and you get full view of his face. You see why folks fear that eye. It’s so.... unnerving to look at. It even glowed faintly.

Well....

At least looking at it didn’t kill you.

Day 3 completed rather quickly. We get a good look at that creepy eye of Garion’s. I actually struggled with that eye cuz i just couldn’t get it to look quite the way i wanted at first.

This was a piece I've been working on for the past few weeks. Work and family obligations got in the way of finishing up.
