OnFebruary 23rd, the University of Southern California’s Trojan Vision TV Network interviewed Dean Pitchford, author of THE BIG ONE-OH, CAPTAIN NOBODY and NICKEL BAY NICK (Penguin), for their nightly program. Training ground for USC students, Trojan Vision programs are produced exclusively by USC students and are broadcast to the entire USC campus and surrounding area, reaching about 47,000 people.
Always personable, Dean talks about his career as a screenwriter, a songwriter and a children's book author as if he's just chatting with a friend. As the interview progresses, the host takes a couple of questions straight from THE BIG ONE-OH's study guide and asks Dean to answer them for himself. You'll find out if he ever worked very hard at something that didn't go the way he had planned and also that he's an okay cook and a pretty good scrabble player.
