Exhausted after another long day on the battlefield and aching inside after pulling a long shift trying to comfort the wounded, Captain Sword returned to his quarters on the Wave Rider in the hopes of getting some much needed rest. Scratching at his hair, he entered the small room and set his helmet on the table beside the door. "Welcome home." Storm offered, looking up from the report he was writing. "I was worried." "I'll always come home to you." Sword replied, starting to slip off his armour. "I know." Storm smiled, saving his report and standing.
Glancing towards the 'fresher as he peeled off his bodysuit top, Sword chuckled as Storm wrapped him up in a hug and guided him towards one of the bunks. At the moment the other two bunks in the room were empty and they were perfectly happy to cram onto one bunk together. Kicking off his boots, Sword let his brother-by-choice tumble them into the bed and settled in against him. "Love you, vod." Storm muttered, hugging his brother to his chest. "Love you too, vod." Sword agreed, curling his hands around Storm's wrists and allowing sleep to claim him.
