Look, I love Tsukasa “arrogant melee player” Shiba, the red headed hacker in Gundam Build Divers. He’s fun to make fun of! Plus, I can’t find the suggestive images of him on hellsite anymore! Because hellsite preserves nothing!

Which is why I hate Cpt. Zeon because he’s like “I love this world” and mete-ing out “justice” through Axis drops.

Especially since Kazami has a para-social relationship with him - despite being the most attached of our 4 leads to the “Gundam-like setting,” hence his complaints to the furry-isekai setting. Though, Bandai is sending mixed messages - he also just wants to skip through the story, so maybe he doesn’t really care about any story? But he keeps complaining about things - how he’s the only one with a “proper machine” etc.

If he cares about the setting, Kazami should see Cpt. Zeon as hollow.

If he doesn’t, why is he the one complaining that the missions aren’t Gundam like? How does he know this?

Is he just a fake/cool robot/western fan?

Who the heck knows, Bandai doesn’t know how to give good characterization in their toy commercials!

Either Zeon is going to dissuade Kazami with his own “justice,” where Zeon is painted in the wrong - or Zeon is going to shot Kazami how hollow his own justice is, painting Kazami in the wrong. Bandai can’t pull off nuance.

“You don’t love this world” says Cpt. Zeon. “And that’s your problem.” Despite not understanding Beyond the Time at all.
