#kill la kill#ryuko matoi#satsuki kiryuin#senketsu#mako mankanshoku#aikuro mikisugi#tsumugu kinagase#ira gamagori#uzu sanageyama#hoka inumata#nonon jakuzure#gifs#my gifs#guess what I watched in the span of 3 days xD#but oh my god this truly is the anime that catches your eye with its flashiness but makes you stay for the plot#HEAR ME OUT it's much more than a “fanservice” anime and I highly recommend it for the stellar animation -#loveable characters - amazing OST by the GOAT Hiroyuki Sawano - and various symbolisms through its intricate worldbuilding#it's my favorite type of media where you can turn off your brain and enjoy the hype fight scenes#yet when really scrutinized it holds an amazing amount of depth#kill la kill? more like PEAK la PEAK#watching this after Panty & Stocking just made me appreciate Studio TRIGGER even more#and honest to gods I just love how well-written and driven Ryuko and Satsuki are as the leads#I love how Senketsu's bond with Ryuko deepened as the story progresses and they truly learn to trust each other#*SPOILER* enough to make me cry for the most adorable and awesome sailor uniform in the world when he told Ryuko -#that she's ready to “graduate” and wear “cuter” clothes QQ but gahhhhhhhh my kokoro 😭#the show also did a great job of making me like the side characters - Mako is best girl and Gamagori-senpai is such a sweetheart <3#I absolutely love how Satsuki's posse are called the Elite Four xD and by the end I grew quite fond of them#anyway I made gifs because I just LOVE this op!!! it's just so uplifting and fills me with a real fighting spirit#I can't get over the shot when the chorus hits and Ryuko and Satsuki hit the most stylish stances ever <3
