i think theres a direct line that can be drawn connecting the fearmongering over hormones and gender affirming surgeries in ftm circles and rise in framing things within "male/female" socialization as well as TERF rhetoric that regards trans men as..."lost women/lost sisters" (or mutilated women ((eyeroll)).
