"These people..." He muttered quietly. The gunblader's hardened gaze flickered across each of their expressions briefly, taking a moment to assess each and every one of them. Some of them seemed as if they were people of his time that he just hadn't met with, others seemed as if they had been pulled off the pages of mythological stories. Strangely dressed and some of them were armed with weapons that didn't seem as practical as the typical sword users he was accustomed to seeing. No doubt some of them held magical prowess -- but to what extent? There were few whom he deemed desirable to not come into contact with, most of them he thought it'd be best to remain isolated from them. After all, what better a way to work on something than independently? -- he relied on no one, for anything. He was capable of taking care of himself, and getting to know these people would only create a distraction that was unnecessary. Being Commander, at least, since recent events -- he was capable of dealing with them on a professional level if it was required of them. Yet, he still held some small curiosity as to just who these people were and why they were so vastly different from the people he'd met due to missions and exploration. The Shumi and moombas had been new to him, yet here these people were. Just when he'd thought he had seen everything.

"Oh~? New faces, don't see them everyday." He raised his hand and waved, smiling, "Name's Jack!"
