We’re still blown away by the enthusiasm the fandom’s shown for our miniBang (it’s now 26 fics and 26 pieces of art!!). And so to thank everyone who signed up, we’ve decided to rec their work in these posts and also to help you to get to know them better. You see, besides old favourites, we’ve also got quite a few newcomers!  (See all the spotlight posts here.)

We know that we’ve advertised the miniBang as “one last event before the movie” and now the premier’s moved to November, but the Bond fandom has no time to sigh!

We’ll keep writing and arting and supporting our writers and artists with many reblogs and comments!

Jamaica. I can't really think offhand of another one as I have been to a number of those places already

My favorite  is my latest one is an apocalyptic tale, And Stand Secure Amidst a Falling World. I have always loved  end of the world fics and finally wrote one. The other favorite is  On The Habits of the Phoenix. because the darned thing haunted my dreams until I got it on paper.

I love these. The Lawrence Browne Affair especially. The size difference between characters is a huge kink of mine and Lawrence is, I am reasonably sure, on the autism spectrum and suffering anxiety disorders as well. Super bonus for representation of atypical characters as romantic and capable.

YES. Ppl talk about his anxiety a lot but Im also reasonably sure Lawrence is autistic. I’m obviously no authority, but for example Lawrence’s eating habits make it pretty obvious. Plus Cat S. handles it so well, esp given how she has autistic family members (im trying not to be too creepy about my fave authors lifes but I’m on twitter and have a really good memory....)

ANYWAY I ADORE LAWRENCE HES SO GOOD AND RELATABLE I LOVE GIANT GENTLE PEOPLE WITH WILD LONG HAIR AND BEARDS AND HES A SCIENTIST TOO AND HES SO SCARED BUT HIS FIRST PRIORITY IS STILL GEORGIE’S WELLBEING AND SIMON’S TOO JUST. CLUTCHES CHEST

Hes like ‘hurr durr im so bad and evil and bad and also evil anyway im just gonna make sure youre happy and healthy and your son is okay and loved and your work is organised and easy anyway look how EVIL AND BAD I AM’ like. honey. please look around yourself, theres not an evil bone in your wonderful body. Excellent advice (from the sub in the corner who is no wannabe dom's doormat.) Understand a person submits because they have power to give to someone else in the pursuit of pleasure for both. The submissive's energy is what drives the dynamic. A good Dom will be endlessly patient until they know for sure how to give you what you need.

Wannabe doms (they are not worthy of the D) make me sick. It’s also okay to be an extremely inexperienced Dom, just again, be open with your sub. They can in turn help the Dom to learn and grow. No one starts perfect. Each side will be patient with the other as long as there is communication, and with the way a Dom/sub structures their relationship, that communication is paramount.

And thank you, I’m glad it was good advice. I try, though I make no claims that I am the best or that my advice is the only one anyone should listen to. To be honest, even with my experience now, I am still a novice Dom. :) But I will never mislead a sub into thinking I am the most experienced Dom. That in itself is abuse and why we have such a bad rep... :(

OK in my present stucky haze, I recall reading a fic about our boys exploring a house and every room represented a different trope or story type. They were intrigued or embarrassed by most but the last room was the hydra trash party and the goings on there are really getting to them and one says something negative about it and the response shouted from someone in the room is "no kink shaming!" I am a very bad and confused fan who neglected to bookmark this. Any help?
