1.What is your favorite season?

I'm really into summer because I'm so special like that. Also my birthday is in there somewhere so it's awesome.

2. Why is your favorite tv show/movie/book your favorite?

Why would you ask me something like that? I pride myself in having an awesome taste in music but not necessarily in the visual entertainments. Obviously I post a lot of Supernatural stuff but honestly sometimes the fandom is more interesting than the show right? As far as movies go I'm such a sucker for a chick flick. Like even those cheesy made-for-tv movies that are on like ABCFamily all the time. Everything about it might be horrible (it may be terribly written, have awful acting, even worse visual effects, etc.) but I'll still go AWWWWWWW!!! when the boy and girl get together because deep down I'm a cheesy romantic and I make no apologies about that.

3. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Here's a question I haven't thought about recently, mainly because right now I'm having a tough time planning out the next year much less 5 and 10 years down the line. Everyone always says they want to be married with a family by the time they're 30 (or in my case, 32) right? I don't even think like that because if you start putting your personal life on a timeline like that you end up doing stupid stuff like marrying some guy because your deadline is almost up and that's kinda dumb right? A lot of people also have a specific destination for where they want to end up. I don't even think I have an idea about that either. Out of Kansas would be nice but if it ends up that I have a better life here then ok sure. The only thing I know for sure is I want to have graduated with my degree in Music Therapy and be somewhere helping someone do something using that degree. 

(Side note: I'm really bad about answering questions in one sentence wow I'm so sorry)

4. Tell me a lyric from a song your really like.

Really? REALLY? School doesn't start for me for another 2 weeks. Why are you asking such hard questions. Ok here's the deal. I'm just going to put my iPod on shuffle and find a song that way because 99% of the stuff I listen to has pretty great lyrics. Oh good. Second and Sebring by Of Mice and Men. Yeah this song means a lot to me. Literally the entire song is filled with lyrics I love but I guess I'm especially connected with the lines:

"You'll always be right by my side. To help me show, hope to all, That are lost and sick in this dying world. I'll use the love you left behind, I'll change their minds, I'll change their minds. I hope, I hope you smile, When you look down on me. I hope you smile."

5. What is your perfect date?

Does anyone ever have a definitive answer for this? Really, I think it's more the company that you're with that matters rather than what you do. Talking is good so as long as some portion of the date involves talking (and more importantly questions) I'm probably having a fantastic time. 

6. Would you rather live in the mountains or by the beach?

Why not both? Can I live in between a mountain and a beach? I'm a big fan of swimming though so if I could swim in the ocean everyday if I was absolutely pressed to I would say beach. 

7. If you could go and do one thing right now, what would you do?

I'm at work right now so asking me this question is like asking a short person what it would be like to be tall (as far as analogies go, that's probably the worst one I've ever come up with.) It'd be nice to just take a drive and go somewhere and not have to worry about being back for 3 or 4 days. 

8. Would you rather have a first-born girl or boy?

This is one that I could not care less about. If it's healthy and I'm prepared for it (financially, emotionally, physically) and I was married (and he was prepared for it obviously.) I don't think it matters... so long as his/her middle name gets to be something totally dorky. Oh I fear for my future children. I'm going to be that mom that embarrasses the crap out of their kids and it's going to start from the time they're 2 minutes old. 

9. Describe your dream home?

Funny story. I have a friend who always says "in my big girl house I'm going to have this..." and I have never really thought about it. Really it's just small touches like wood floors, a dishwasher, two stories, a backyard. But honestly, it's who you share it with. So basically, the perfect house for me comes complete with a couple of dogs, and (eventually) a man to help me share the responsibilities of keeping it up.

11. How was your day today?

This is my favorite question to ask people. No one ever thinks to ask it though (mainly because everyone always gives pleasant answers like fine, good, no one ever goes into anything meaty.) I had a decent day today. I slept a lot, did some laundry. The dog I'm watching for my friend got some new toys today and in an hour they were all torn to pieces so I had to clean that up. My favorite part of my day so far was when I played the piano. (and that's why no one ever asks me how my day was.)

What is your favorite season?

Winter! It probably would be autumn but that doesn't exist in Florida. Well, winter doesn't really either but it actually gets cold for like two days and I love those days so much.

     2.Why is your favorite tv show/movie/book your favorite?

To Kill a Mockingbird is my favorite book for kind of sentimental reasons. I read it for the first time in elementary school, then again in sixth grade, and only really understood the general plot at the time. And then my dad saw that I had read it and we had one of my first actual, in-depth discussions about a work of literature. That's what kind of made me love reading even more, and every time I read it after that I got something deeper from it, and it's still my favorite to this day. (man that got sappy)

     3.Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Hopefully with a stable job, a husband, and a few kids. Also with cats. I like cats. 

     4.Tell me a lyric from a song your really like.

     5. What is your perfect date?

Hmmm, honestly I'd be down for anything. Like if it involves me hanging out with or getting to know the person I like, better, then any activity is cool with me. Maybe taking a walk on a park trail, or watching a movie we've both seen before (that way talking during the movie is A-okay), or casually going on a quest to fight a dragon. It's all perfect to me.

     6. Would you rather live in the mountains or by the beach?

MOUNTAINS. MOUNTAINS. MOUNTAINS. Don't get me wrong, I am a Floridian, and I love my beach, but I would hate to live on one. The mountains just, I dunno, seem more appealing. Like I would prefer living in a cabin in the mountains than having a beach house any day.

    7. If you could go and do one thing right now, what would you do?

Go somewhere where I could see snow and play in it. I know it's a nuisance for people who have to deal with it all the time, but it just seems like so much fun to play with. I could build a fort. I could make a snowball. I COULD SING "DO YOU WANNA BUILD A SNOWMAN" WHILE BUILDING A SNOWMAN.

     8. Would you rather have a first-born girl or boy?

Honestly I would be totally okay with either. But I have more boy names I would dig for a kid kind of in my head, so I guess that?

     9. Describe your dream home?

Honestly, I would totally dig living in a cabin, as previously stated. But I think I could live in any house if I was happy with my family situation. But one thing I've always dreamed of having in a house would be like my own library room with one of those rolling ladders attached to the bookshelves. It would probably result in my death but I would be okay with going out like that.

I had a really good day! I got to see Frozen for the fourth time and my ticket was freeeeeee. Also I hung out with some A+ people AND I, RAEGEN, WON A BOARD GAME. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT.

Autumn, except I don't get to experience it here in Phoenix :(

Why is your favorite tv show/movie/book your favorite?

Scrubs is probably my favorite TV show because it got me through one of the hardest points of my life with laughter, and tears, and honesty. Say what you want about how stupid the show is, it helped keep me sane.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Married, maybe a cub or two. Doing ministry. I got nothing beyond that.

I never knew my father, and feel constantly like I never had the training to become a proper man. This line hits home very hard for me because of it.

What is your perfect date?

My perfect date would include food - either a nice dinner out somewhere (not necessarily fancy, but good food), or I'd cook us a meal. It would involve a movie, either at a theater or at home. It would involve cuddling, because that's necessary. Maybe a smooch or two. We could go on a walk at night, or a drive - her choice. I'm a pretty easy-going guy - I don't have specifics to attend to. If it's time spent with the right girl, it's perfect enough for me.

How about both? MOUNTAIN BEACH

If you could go and do one thing right now, what would you do?

Either drive to Texas and visit a dear friend, or California for the same reason.

Boy I think. That way he can watch over his sister(s).

I really like modernism mixed with old school stylings. So like a really modern house with high ceilings but old as balls wooden flooring and like surrounded by woods (but not the creepy woods - lovely woods).

How was your day today?

It was actually fairly good. I went to the gym for the first time this year and it went well. I was productive in cleaning some things today. Now I get to chill and embrace the night. I dig it

1. Favorite meal?

Something simple. I love food and cooking, but my favorite meal would be something easy and simple and delicious, and most importantly, shared with good company

2. How do you spend your days? 

Mostly on tumblr. Ha. Its really just laying on my bed, emailing, writing code, watching netflix, drinking tea, and surfing the net. Nights and weekends I work in a library. And just about my entire sunday is taken up with church.

3. Dream job?

Doing something that helps people through technology and the internet. The last year or two, I've been working becoming a full time designer, starting my own studio.

4. Aside from food, water, and shelter, what one thing could you not go a day without? 

Practically: my computer and/or phone. Ideally: the kiss of a sweet lady, a fire to warm us, and good conversation.

5. What ability or skill do you wish you could have (but don’t yet)?

Blacksmithing. If I was born 200 years ago I would have been a blacksmith.

6. Favorite animal?

Stag.

7. Your Harry Potter boggart? 

Me. Being a boring adult.

8. Sounds you most love in the world?

Drenching rain on my windows. The absolute silence of during snowfall. The crackle of a fire.

Toughie. Probably a tie between Mat Cauthon from The Wheel of Time and Bast from The Kingkiller Chronicles. Aw hell. Then there's Aragron, and Legolas. Sherlock Holmes.

10. Best childhood memory?

Just reading by myself for hours... there was this thing in our sofa. It was one of those L shaped sofas, and at the intersection there was this compartment that spun around, i used to be small enough to fit in there and read. I liked small spaces.

Kindness. Assertiveness. Humble. Sassy. Stylish. Musical. Witty. Appreciation for the little things.
