4. favourite dish specific for your country? that’s a tough question, since I really like our cuisine, but my absolute fav is a dish that’s acc from my region - it’s called szare kluski (which translates as grey dumplings)grey dumplings are made from grated raw potatoes mixed with flour and eggs, usually served with small bacon pieces and sour cabbage or sweet carrot/carrot+peaswhile the taste isn’t that unique (esp in a region known for eating so many potatoes), the consistency isn’t similar to anything else - it’s thick and kinda gluey, but overall really, really good
6. most hated song in your native language?hoo boy, the whole disco polo genre fills me with rage, but this song is currently being played everywhere and I despise it
10. most enjoyable swear word in your native language?well, everyone knows kurwa, which is the most universal swear word, but I always preferred pierdolić (which means to fuck)
13. does your country (or family) have any specific superstitions or traditions that might seem strange to outsiders?tbh this whole country is extremely superstitious, but I’ve always found it weird when someone panicked when they dreamed of teeth or witnessed a cross falling off the wall bc apparently it means that death is gonna occur in the familyI’ve also once been thrown out of the kitchen when I was on my period bc supposedly this can cause cakes/pies won’t rise in the oven
