The first time Steve calls Tony ‘Daddy’ is when Tony patches up his suit for him, because apparently, Tony’s the “sugar daddy of the group.” He lets it go.
The second time, Steve teases him for being included in the Top Ten Sexiest Daddies of All Time. He also lets it go.
The third time, Steve asks if Daddy can buy him a pair of panties.
He doesn’t let it go.
“You want Daddy to do what?” he repeats.
The grin on Steve’s face drops a bit and his face goes red. Jerking back, he says, “Nothing. Tony, you know I was just—”
“That’s not what you called me,” Tony interrupts, because hey, once he’s getting started, he doesn’t stop, okay? Plus, Steve is giving very much visible signs that he likes the sound of Tony calling himself that, and it feeds nicely into the little positive feedback loop he has going on in his mind right now.
“I—” Steve stutters, eyes wide, and Tony steps closer.
“You want Daddy to buy you a pretty pair of panties?” Tony presses, watching in delight as Steve flushes even redder. “Say yes.”
“Yes,” Steve gasps. “Yes, goddammit.”
Tony pulls back with a grin. “Why, of course, sweetheart,” he teases, giving Steve’s cheek a pat. “And while you’re at it, why don’t you say ‘thank you,’ to me for being so generous too?”
“Thank you.” And then— “Thank you, Daddy.”
“There you go,” Tony purrs.
