it’s quite appalling how quickly people turned on him. I never watched his videos really but I always thought (and still do) he’s a cool guy with a good sense of humor. I can respect how he doesn’t take shit at least.

i want to say i’m surprised with how quickly people reacted, but i’m not. 

i still really like his content and i like his humor. i see all these people telling him to kill himself and that he should be aborted and it’s gross. i took the time to read interviews he’s given and, while i don’t agree with a lot of what he’s said recently, i’m glad i can say that i at least gave him the chance to explain his side, i guess? i want to have civil conversations about this kind of thing, and i think he probably does, too, but his abrasive humor seems to get in the way of that. 

i think that’s the thing that gets me: so many people are being toxic and it makes it hard to have conversations when everyone is on the offensive. i’m going off topic here, though. everyone around me is full of anger and i’m honestly just sad. i’ve never been extremely well-versed in politics, to be totally honest with you. and i won’t pretend that i know more than i do. i’m the saddest and most disappointed i’ve ever been and i really hate seeing all the ugliness...i guess for the first time in my 25 years, i’m seeing the world for how it really is.

this got long and off topic, but i kinda wanted to get all that out there...

he definitely seems to be very polarizing with a lot of people from the start. some people love him, some people hate him, more people love to hate him

i wanted to like him and i chose the nice dialogue options, but i'm just kinda iffy about him. in a way, he is a good character imo because he's pretty polarizing in the story, too. he has avid fans and vocal haters in both story and fandom, so good on atlus. :)
