lighthouse rocks
The thoughts spiral inside me, thrashing wildly, consuming every dry, safe surface off my mind, and catapulting all off my mistakes directly into my heart, consuming it like a plague, destroying every essence off life, and killing the light that shows the way, until all there is is rocks, and holes in the ship, until they all abandon You, jumping ship, and leaving you too die, a slow and painful death. The water seeping in through the cracks in the wood off the boat and welling up inside your throat vile, hot words, churning inside your throat and bubbling into your brain, taking over and capsizing the boat, pulling you a little deeper underneath the waves, exhausting you until it destroys any hope of survival. Any resonance of determination dwindling inside the capsized ship, that is your mind. Pulling you to face that ypu don’t matter, you are but one shipwreck, in a vast sea off life.
