Tristan's job was to watch the dryers.

The shoes thumped around inside. Thunk. Thunk. Thunk. Thunk. Almost like they were walking on a treadmill or round and round in a hamster wheel. But they didn't always land sole first, so it was more like a prolonged fall, with twisted ankles and bowed knees.

Thunk. Thunk. Thunk. Thunk.

Clunk.

The dryer three from the right ground to a stop, the door popping open as a shoe kicked its way free.

He was on his feet in a heartbeat, sprinting, leaping, tackling the shoe to the ground before it could hop away. Snatching at its partner before it could make a run for it too. He hauled himself to his feet and wrestled the struggling shoes back into the dryer before slamming the door and pounding the start button.

The dryer wound up to take on the same straining hum of its neighbors. A moment later: Thunk. Thunk. Thunk. Thunk.

Tristan took a breath and returned to his stool.

It was his job to watch the dryers.

Does that include champions road? Matt and I are stuck on that...

yeah it does. it was really hard and it took a lot of tries but i managed to do it. if you want some advice id suggest going in with all tanuki suits. the floating ability is super fucking useful especially for the beat blocks and the dash part. luckily the level just hands you the green stars and stamps so its not hard in that respect. but yeah. it was a big challenge
