who is more likely to hurt the other? At this point, I don’t seem them being able to hurt each other. Maybe Phoe hurting JB by refusing mating or marriage who is emotionally stronger? JB by far who is physically stronger? Uh, Phoe is, because of her other realm genetics who is more likely to break a bone? JB, at work.. and Phoe would be pissedwho knows best what to say to upset the other? I honestly don’t think they would try to upset the other, even when angry... but probably JB who is most likely to apologise first after an argument? JB who treats who’s wounds more often? Phoe treats JB... she hates her alphas job who is in constant need of comfort? Phoe who gets more jealous? JBwho’s most likely to walk out on the other? Phoe who will propose? JB will want too, but when it happens I see Phoe blurting it out who has the most difficult parents? PHOEwho initiates hand-holding when they’re out in public? “You... What? Barnes - ” Steve’s brow furrowed as he moved immediately to help support her through anything she would need. He laid a hand gently against her arm. “Barnes, what are you talking about? You’re right here. What’s going on?”

"Stevie you know what I miss. Ma's lamb stew. Man I could go for a big bowl." Barnes was laying on their bed reading.

It was disconcerting, to know that technically Barnes hadn't been there to experience the soup she was talking about. But Steve knew the memory was there, knew if it was placed before her that she would know without hesitation that this was the exact recipe she was asking for. It was a small comfort, in light of everything that had happened. "I don't think lamb's on the mess hall menu all that often," he suggested back idly. "We could try, but we might get written up for burning something down in the effort." He offered Barnes a small grin as consolation, sympathy in his expression.

She leaned over to kiss her cheek. “I brought you your favorite food.” She pulled out the take out boxes, and then a small chocolate cake with ‘Happy Birthday Phoe’ written in red icing.

She smiled softly as she leaned into that kiss, reaching out as her fingers brushed against the others arm. Taking a seat she smiled at the takeout, the little cake making her purse her lips, a little sadness in her eyes. “How did you find out?”

“HEY! Princess Bride is on Netflix! Get your toned ass out here and watch it with me!” Yes she was yelling from the living room back to JB’s study, but.. effort.

"Don't touch her." (JB) (I see this happening ALOT)

Phoe had recoiled as the Alpha pawed at her, stepped behind JB as the other moved between her and the large man. There was an anger in her eyes mixed with fear, the man’s hand on her neck to ‘check’ her had her panicking as she reached for JB. The man was bigger, but she didn’t even doubt for a second that she would win. “Fuck you, asshole.”

Breakfast In Bed || Closed

Phoe hadn’t slept well at all after the night before, getting up early before remembering what day it was. She might not have been a fan of birthday’s, but at least she could do something for JB. She didn’t have the stuff to make her homemade truffles, so she settled on breakfast in bed. There was tea, which she was proud of.. the eggs, toasts and bacon were all a bit black and burned, okay, alot black and burned. Absolutely no OJ. . She never had been much of a cook. The stove had managed to catch on fire... again.... as she glared at it, using her hand to stamp out the flames before getting the plate together, wanting to surprise her Alpha.

“Come here.”  She turned in her chair and urged Phoe to sit in her lap.  “I could make you an appointment with medical if you like?”

Shifting to sit sideways on the others lap she draped ehr arms around her, leaning down to press her face against the others neck. She shook her head no at the comment, not wanting to be poked and prodded anymore than she already had. “Can we just... movie night and cuddle.. is that okay?”
