Hi! I have a hard time articulating arguments and I'm wondering if you can help me. What would you say to a white, straight, cis man who thinks it's okay for him to use derogatory terms for other races/genders and make racist and sexist jokes because he "doesn't mean it that way"? He thinks he is "making fun of society" and "taking away the power of those words."

His intention isn't what matters. If someone is offended why what he says, their feelings are valid. He doesn't get to decide for them how they should interpret or feel about his words. 

When someone asks him to stop talking like that and he doesn't, he is showing his disrespect for them.
