So this photo was taken in 2011 by my daughter.
I got to go to two concerts. All the anticipation and excitement and then it was over culminating in a big emotional Jovi-depression.
I needed something for the pain and my daughter suggested Tumblr as a way to vent my post concert Jovi Feels. It helped.
Finding a whole community of Jovilovers was just what I needed.
It wasn’t long before I was making friends and the BONJOVIFAMILY came into being. A group of us that formed a bond that started with our love for Bon Jovi but became much more than that.
Captainkiddy was one of those original BONJOVIFAMILY members.
In just a year, Ingrid won the hearts of many of us and then she was gone, leaving us changed forever and making our bond even stronger.
Some of us have since moved on to other bands or left Tumblr altogether but many of us still remain and all of us no doubt will always remember Ingrid and the bond we all shared that year.
I will forever miss Ingrid but I think I would be safe in assuming she would be happy to see how the BONJOVIFAMILY continues to grow and would love all the new members who make this a wonderful place to visit and share our love for our band.
