Yet another year has gone by... Miss you always Ingrid 💕

Yet another year has gone by... Miss you always Ingrid 💕
So at first I got a little overwhelmed with this project.
A lot of mixed feelings.
Although I was happy to bring Captainkiddy back in a sense, it also brought some sadness.
But as I go through other people’s archives it brings back a lot of good memories.
I don’t want this to be a depressing thing. Someone sent me a message stating they thought it was wrong to bring up all the old feelings about Ingrid passing.
I would like to explain, that is not my intention.
My intention is to celebrate who she was.
I want this to be a happy thing because that is what she brought to all of us when she was here.
So please concentrate on that, not on her passing.

So this photo was taken in 2011 by my daughter.
It was a good year.
I got to go to two concerts. All the anticipation and excitement and then it was over culminating in a big emotional Jovi-depression.
I needed something for the pain and my daughter suggested Tumblr as a way to vent my post concert Jovi Feels. It helped.
Finding a whole community of Jovilovers was just what I needed.
It wasn’t long before I was making friends and the BONJOVIFAMILY came into being. A group of us that formed a bond that started with our love for Bon Jovi but became much more than that.
Captainkiddy was one of those original BONJOVIFAMILY members.
In just a year, Ingrid won the hearts of many of us and then she was gone, leaving us changed forever and making our bond even stronger.
Some of us have since moved on to other bands or left Tumblr altogether but many of us still remain and all of us no doubt will always remember Ingrid and the bond we all shared that year.
I will forever miss Ingrid but I think I would be safe in assuming she would be happy to see how the BONJOVIFAMILY continues to grow and would love all the new members who make this a wonderful place to visit and share our love for our band.

I chose this URL based upon a project the BONJOVIFAMILY did after Ingrid’s passing. Marianna http://the-reason-captainkidd-can-fly.tumblr.com/ , Ashley http://scream-into-the-echo.tumblr.com/ (formerly known as Whitetiger9) and another blogger spearheaded the project. We all posted photos of ourselves or edits with the theme of “Ingrid’s Angels.”
It seems fitting that as I cannot use Captainkiddy.tumblr, I should use this for the URL...
On this blog I shall be reposting her gifs and reblogging her old posts from mine and other people’s archives. If anyone finds something they think should be added to the blog, please message me and let me know.
For those of you who didn’t know her you can help keep her alive here on Tumblr by reblogging the posts and if you want to contribute something please do. She loved the entire band but especially Richie and Jon if that inspires you...
