[MSG]: I guess my company doesn't interest you any more.
Jealous Messages
[ Text: Lainey ] Well, you guessed wrong. [ Text: Lainey ] Of course it does. I love your company.
"Hey is this Rowan?" A boy asked, calling from Lainey's phone.
"Please leave me alone." Rowan hung up. He didn't get why Lainey couldn't just come over like a normal person. He'd asked her plenty of times. His girlfriend sat there bitching about how he never gave her attention, and even had random people call him, but she literally couldn't even go 5 minutes out of her way to his house. God, dating her was a mistake.

"Can I come up?" She asks, biting her lip. "Remember that bite I told you about? It’s all healed and gone and now I’ve got a weird urge to eat a burger." Lainey didn’t eat. But when she wasn’t going hungry because there was no money at home, she was vegetarian.
"Of course." Scott croaked out before eventually clearing his throat, not really catching onto what she said until he was at the bottom of the stairs and facing the door. The bite the girl had a pretty bad one. There was no way it could've healed that quickly. Not unless... No. He shook his head and opened up the door, smiling as he seen her. He really didn't want that for her. "Come in. I can make you one, if you like."
Voicemail: "Ro—I miss you and I don't know what I did to make you this mad at me. I'm sorry for whatever it was. Please just answer the phone. I'm really lonely right now, and I'm really starting to scare myself with the things I think about. Please answer me soon. I love you. Lainey."
Rowan woke up at five PM and groaned when he heard the message on his phone.
Rowan: baby i told you im nocturnalRowan: sleeping doesnt mean i hate youRowan: i even asked if you wanted to stay over here???

"I-I'm sorry-I missed your birthday... I'm bad with dates an' I went up to Boston—t' visit my brother an' I can't believe I missed it. I'm so so sorry, Charlie.." Lainey rambles, looking at her feet
Charlie smiled softly, shaking his head and gently patting her arm. "It's alright, Lainey." He giggled softly. "I wasn't around much anyways. Trust me, it's fine, dear."
"Fuck off." She says bitterly, walking out and slamming the door behind her.
A scoff abruptly left Scott’s lips and he followed her out. “What have I done?”
Mourn (it seemed fitting)

Mourn — I’ll write a drabble of my character mourning yours. (i h8 u)
It had been six days. Six excruciating days of mourning the loss of the person he { p r o m i s e d } to protect. Every timethis happened, she always ended up okay. He’d get her to a hospital and everything would be fine. There wasn’t any fatality, justa couple of nights spent in a hospital and wise words from the doctortelling her not to do it again. But this time… He was too late. Now matter how much he tried to wakeher, her eyelids stayed shut. He shouted at her, shook her and tried to get her heart to start beating again, but nothing worked. She stayed still and un-breathing. Tried eyes closed shut before they quickly opened again. He hadn’t slept in three days. Every time he closed his eyes, the scene he walked in on, filled his thoughts. He clutched his pillow and buried his face into the side of it. All he wanted to do was sleep and not have nightmares. But he couldn’t, nothing was stopping them. And it seemed like nothing ever would.
