I trusted you!

Violet didn’t know what to say. She thought she had done right by making conversation but this time there were consequences that she feared. “I’m sorry Uncle. I’M SORRY!” She thought that the person who was at port was really nice. They seemed all shiny. They took an interest in her and what her experiences were. Along with the idea that a Firefly class ship was at port. Never in the world would she have expected it to be someone from the Alliance. So now she caused her family and crew to be on the run.

"I learned my lesson! Please don’t make me stay in my room forever! I promise not to talk to anyone who’s not the crew ever again! PLEASE!" Violet was begging. Clasping her hands together, giving puppy eyes, trying not to cry…the works. Never in her dreams had she thought that talking about her family would get them into so much trouble. She felt like she betrayed her family. And the way her Uncle yelled at her, she knew she did at that moment.

[grave meme] Mal walks up to the grave stone and puts her favorite stuffed toy in front of it and have it holding her favorite flowers. He runs his hand over the top and walks away slowly with a sad shaky sigh. He doesn't say anything because it's just too gorram hard.

Ok you two. I know you just settled the mini dispute but hear this. If either of you go away you better give me a good explanation cause I do not want to tell Violet. She adores both of your Mals. She loves them and doesn't want them to go away. You both are awesome and you both play a great Mal. There is no comparison. So don't make Violet cry. I know you both adore her. And she adores both of you.

I really don’t know how to say it nicely, so I’ll just write it down: you irritate me. You really do. I get headaches just thinking about your plans for our collective future, or lack thereof. 

In spite of all that, I am grateful. And I realize most of my problems with you aren’t actually your fault, per se. Well, they are. (It will be a miracle if you get through this letter without putting it down to shoot me.)
