Okay, so. I know that Britta has done racist stuff ("I can excuse racism but I draw the line at animal cruelty" and how she treats Abed's father come to mind, among other things) and ableist stuff (like her, "my brother works with kids who have a disorder you might want to look up" thing to Abed in the pilot and how she treats Abed a lot of the time in general). I know she's done a lot of White Feminist Bullshit that reeks of white savior stuff (like again, how she treats Mr. Nadir and her entire part in the plot of Introduction to Film, and how she talks down to Annie and Shirley about their interests and their ideas about political protests in Spanish 101, and her attitude about religion and how she talks to Shirley about it), and she has displayed internalized misogyny and a preference for Strong Female Character ness, and her whole thing with Paige in Early 21st Century Romanticism is super heterosexist… And yes Troy wasn't actually ever molested but it still wasn't cool of her to announce that he was to the rest of the study group, Chang, and Wu Mei in Competitive Wine Tasting (plus her whole relationship with Troy, for me, involved a lot of both of them disrespecting each other but the disrespect from Britta to Troy is more notable to me because she's been doing it since Interpretive Dance at least)… But has Britta ever actually said or done anything that was cissexist and/or transphobic, or did I make that up??
