It's basically uh

Hmm the best way to say it is that it's a sort of physical manifestation of latent psychic ability that's usually triggered by some external force, typically the "bow and arrow", but I believe stands can be activated by coming in contact with the "corpse parts". (Steel Ball Run was a weird part of Jojo.) Each one is entirely unique, and they can only be seen by other people who have stands.

They all at least have one ability, for example The World (Dio Brando's stand) has the ability to stop time for everyone but it's owner, Soft & Wet (the protagonist of Jojolion's stand) has the ability to steal anything from anyone whether it's tangible or not, and Kiss (Hermes Costello's stand) has the ability to put a sticker on someone's body, duplicating that part, and refusing the parts when the sticker is removed, damaging the person who had the sticker placed on them.

There are a few... Weirder stands (Foo Fighters, Purple Hermit) and the like, and a lot of them are overpowered (King Crimson and Gold Experience Requiem, dear FUCK part 5 wins hands down for "most bullshit stands"), but they're consistent enough for people to go "oh that's a stand" when one's introduced.

They also punch people. Repeatedly. If the user isn't known for shooting out punches faster than the speed of dick, the stand is.

idk I usually just keep on trying until it works, it sometimes takes about half an hour, and other times about five minutes! O: If you’re going “faraway” you have a better chance of connecting without issues tbh.

It’s just a connection thing, it comes and goes. I sometimes can’t even connect locally to my sister’s game despite being a foot away from each other. lol

oh okay haha I was getting worried since a lot of people seemed to have the problem and didn't seem to find solutions.

and then i also ship makoto/haru, rin/nitori, kou/seijuro, kou/amakata, and amakata/goro haha whoops i basically think most of them would be cute together uwu

also, rin/haru is a thing i ship, but not really in a current sense!! like, my headcanon or whatever u wanna call it is they dated, or at least had mutual feelings for each other that were occasionally acted upon, and then all that bad junk happened and they left off on bad terms, so they do still kinda have feelings for each other?? but it won't actually bud into a relationship or anything, they're just kind of leftover feelings that'll eventually go away once they actually sort things out and end things on a good note.
