The News.
You know how you kids whine and cry at me every year to do something for Halloween and I always have to say no?
Danny gave me a really good idea, and I made an executive decision.
So, we're having a Halloween party. Surprise.

captin-teror replied to your post: MAXIMUM RIDE. You are GORGEOUS.
I’m pretty good looking too ahahaha
And soooo modest, too. I'm rolling my eyes at you right now, Gasser.
Yes, you're a cutie pie.
Forgot to mention--
Gazzy developed a new skill. He has some weird electrical charge. Neat, huh? He can turn on lightbulbs in his hand and charge laptops and phones without plugging them in.
Which, is pretty darn convenient, since we're all bloggers now. Not just Fang.
captin-teror replied to your post: You’re disgusting. No wonder Marian was dissatisfied with your progress.
Go max!
Thanks, kiddo. The support is greatly appreciated ;) How are you feeling? Your stitches come out alright? No fuss, right?
Waking up in a cage.
Blue eyes blinked open slowly, a quiet groan slipping through chapped lips, making him wince. His throat hurt. Images and sounds flashed through his mind. Screaming. He was screaming. No, not just him. Max. Hope rose in him and shattered just as quickly, a choked sob noise bouncing back at him off of the walls. Gazzy had never felt so alone before. So deflated. So hopeless. Not in the back of the van full of flyboys, not when his sister was taken. Not when he was staying in the broken down gang house with Fang and Iggy, wondering if the girls missed them.
Bam!
The door swung open and he jumped a little, but puffed out his chest as best as he could from his laying position. His gaze toughened and narrowed, practicing what he'd seen Max do a thousand times. A hulking Eraser sneered into his cage.
"Hey there, little piglet..." He snorted loudly a few times, breaking into a wolfish cackle. Gazzy sneered back, stiffening his body to keep from shaking.
"You look a little dirty, wolf face. Take a shower!" He drew up as much moisture in his mouth as he could and spit in the dog's ugly, morphy face. Right in the eye. Score.
The Eraser whimpered and rubbed at his eyes, growling. "You little piece of--"
Gazzy grinned, but his face blanked and paled at the presense of another in the room.
"Now now. Don't antagonize my guest, Damien...I told you to make him feel comfortable." Marian stepped into view and smiled in a faux-sweet manner. "Now, prep him."
"NO!"
Marian's face slipped into an amused smirk. Gazzy gulped. "No?" She leaned close to his cage, knowing he wouldn't dare pull a cutesy little prank on her. His blue eyes were wide with terror, even though he tried desperately to stay calm and brave. How cute.
Almost makes this hard.
Almost.
"I don't believe I remember giving you a choice" Her voice was a low, menacing whisper and her expression held far too much amusement.
Gazzy shrunk back into his cage, stifling a whimper.
'Max, please hurry.'
((Okay I wrote something I'm super duper proud of considering it was just a quick write. I'm going to post it and whether or not it's canon is up to Gazzy and Marian I guess because I hate god-modding ugh.
So yeah. It's about Gazzy first waking up in the cage in Queens.
ALSO TODAY I SAW A LADY THAT LOOKED A LOT LIKE MARIAN ON MY TRAIN AND SHE GOT OUT AT MY STOP AND I LIVE AROUND WHERE SHE'S SUPPOSED TO BE HIDING OUT OMFG THE URGE TO SCREAM FREE GAZZY WAS DEFINITELY THERE SOMEWHERE.))
Woke up this morning and...
No wonder my legs were so cold last night. Have you ever woken up half dressed in the woods?
Me neither. Not until now.
Wasn't terrible, though. Nobody bothered us and something about being pulled to Fang's chest made things feel a little less heavy and hopeless. I let him sleep for a bit before waking him up to get dressed.
Good thing, too, the helicopter came after that. So now we've moved from one tin can to another, with one moment of peace in between. I feel really ready to take her on now. Kick butt and take names. Get Gazzy back and take down Janssen once and for all.
We're ready, Director. The question is...
Are you ready for us?
