*snort* So Rhaskos only catches for Crixus? Sorry. Im, like, 12 years old.

That's a WHOLE other fic series. But nah, it's based off my time of following the Atlanta Braves. Every other pitcher on that team used Javy Lopez as a catcher during that time EXCEPT Greg Maddox for various reasons. A few pitchers have done that and for obvious bullpen reasons most teams have more than one catcher and good lord don't have a stroke over there from all the laughing ;)

no but omg Im looking forward to this even though I dont understand baseball at all. I just want more sport AUs that arent wrestling/football. One day Im writing a hockey AU where the Romans are their biggest rivals and just AWESOMENESS

I feel SORT OF bad b/c this is like, going to have to be a 'verse within a 'verse thing and I don't know how much I'll get done, but I def. do have my main 9, and look, I NEVER talk about it on here, or much anywhere, but I am legit huge baseball fan. I've been my whole life (I'm from New York, I grew up a Yankees fan when the Yankees sucked SO BAD and everyone was a Mets fan, but I didn't care b/c I loved Donnie Baseball. And then, much later on in life, I moved to the heart of Red Sox Nation and got to see the Yankees-Red Sox play at Fenway and the Yankees win and it was one of the greatest moments of my life even if I couldn't show joy b/c, you know, BOSTON) and I've avoided doing baseball AUs in other fandoms b/c it will become a huge stupid gushing thing of love; but....I sort of HAVE to write this side now. Just picturing the joy on Pietros' face when Barca's done with Spring Training and can come back to THEIR HOME and the anticipation of Opening Day and ALL the ridic rituals that comes with baseball, just, ugh, my heart and soul will be pouring into this fic.)
