Beautiful Hellebore flowers! Kind of late in the season for them. Hellebores are one of my favorite baneful herbs! They are in the buttercup family along with wolfsbane, and their toxins work in a similar fashion. Hellebore is traditionally associated with Caput Algol, the fixed star, making the eye in Medusa’s head. Hellebore can be used to paralyze a situation, to cut one off from resources/energy, vampiric workings. It’s poison cuts if the throat, and is thus connected to the gallows and Lilith in her strangler aspect.
