This was super cool. When I asked to take pictures with this car, I had no idea Barbie would be waiting for me to pose with her.

Lol, the car owners thought it was cool that Barbie and I had somewhat of the same look- the bumper bangs, anyway!

Ladies and gentlemen...I said I would make this year my year to shine. And I am. It's a wonderful feeling to have, one I've only dreamed of feeling.

And that's the thing..it's feeling! Sobriety brought along a flood of feelings and emotions and thoughts I didn't know how to deal with before. Things I was always so good and drowning, or disappearing from, moving so fast I didn't have time to process any of what had happened in the last decade of my life. As I've explored my mental health and worked through some of the crap I had mentally packed away, I've found more confidence in who I am. It's allowed me to feel more free to be the best version of me that I could be.

This last weekend proved to me what a gift my dedication to myself has been. Even though I had alot of really stressful issues happening, it seemed for every bad thing that happened, something else amazing would happen. Little signs from the universe highlighting my path, it seems.

So, I'm going to keep doing what makes me happy. I was so wrapped up in wanting someone to share all of this with me, romantically... The real win of my weekend was having my two favorite people there to watch me get first place. My kids. I don't think I have to go into long details about how amazing it was to have them out in the stands cheering me on. Nothing could have been better than that right there.

I can't get over the beautiful work Beth Hostetler does....she's an amazing photographer, and I'm blessed to get to work with her as often as I have.

And for real, I can't get enough of this gingham dress. ❤️ If anybody ever wants to gift me some poshmark money, lmao, I have a bunch of dresses in my list waiting. 😍

(however, as a side note, I got a few super awesome presents in the mail over the weekend, and when I get home from work, I am going to do a little show and tell. You all are so sweet spoiling me!!! )
