Astonishing to see blue skies and sunshine. Abandoned the shiny metropolis venture yesterday as the wind picked up and the rain came down. 2025 may yet prove to be the year I get a waterproof coat and boots.

The amount of rainfall on the Emerald Isle has increased considerably, so I daydream about getting a canal boat and setting it up on the bit of land to the side of the house. I like imagining waking up bobbing about on water and then floating on down the road shouting 'All aboard!' to the neighbours.

For now, me and Biggest Dog are hanging out in the car sharing food and watching the rest of the world go by ...
