My confession.
I was in the right lane driving through my town. There’s a huge black truck in front of me, and a truck in the left lane next to me. The passenger in the red truck keep turning and looking at me and I’m thinking that he likes the song I have playing or he thinks I’m cute, whatevs! So the light turns green and I’m going, and I realize the red truck is trying to keep up with me, and then I hear “HEY!” And I turn and look at the dude and he says something about my car, and then I turn back to check in front of me and the black truck is just..stopped. I had to slam on the brakes and I just barely avoided hitting him. The hood of my car would have gone right under his truck and I would have been squished by the bed of it.
My confession? I’m wondering what would have happened if my reflexes didn’t act so quickly. If the brakes on my car weren’t so wonderful. Would I be getting placed onto a stretcher right now? Would I be okay? Would I be prayed for? Would people come see me in the hospital? Would word get around? How many would care? Who would care? There’s a piece of me thinking that that was the sign from God I was wishing for. But if it had been, I wouldn’t have all these questions..
