boo. more lanie picrews be upon ye. this time ft the one and only tomb raider catacomb crawler cara loft! she’s very sick of lanie’s shit (read: the fact she will not stop flirting with her friends. cara is a lesbian girl you gotta keep up appearances please—) but grows to… respect her by the end. she teaches lanie that she’s capable of more than she thinks, that being a college dropout isn’t the end of the world and there’s more to life than book smarts. or… something like that, at least. practical application and whatnot
also she has a sister (arielle) who’s a few years older than her and in the army. this parallels lanie’s relationship with her own sister (jenna) which is strained from events prior to the season but lanie works to make up with her by the finale :) she also probably helps cara’s issues too idk i haven’t gotten that far lmao
