Joined Cara since Instagram is doing the whole AI scraping with art….I’m slowly building up my posts again there, and I’m hoping the app will take off! I’ll still post here, and my tumblr isn’t going anywhere since I still love posting to good ol tumblr. This is just an alternative to my Instagram

I'm NOT leaving Tumblr. Tumblr is things only Tumblr can be; I love the interaction I get from folks in the tags and the community here is just as vibrant as its ever been. So I'm still staying! I decided to join Cara as a portfolio site; so if you're there and inclined to follow me you can actually do that now. :) It's been pitched as a no-ai-allowed replacement for Art Station. If you're an artist who's looking for a portfolio host that's not going to scrape it for AI (looking at you Instagram) this is a damn fine one. For artists by artists.

I'm hopeful it'll grow into a place to network and pass jobs around. You don't get much if any work from the likes of Instagram/Twitter, but art people do pass names along when they know a project is hiring.
