The mod is working pretty good now, thankfully. I have some tweaks and extra stuff to add in still though, and I think I’m gonna go for making simple weapons as well. It’s more for the diorama than the mod but I want to get everything ready to post for Saturday. 

I want to upload the mods the same for PC on Nexusmods and Bethesda.net, but for the Xbox version there will either be downsided textures or I’ll cut the extra armor color. They only have 2gb of space for mods. My Nexusmods page I care more about because you can personalize it more, and I am wanting to have my final video done for then so I can link it as well as an Artstation page for my diorama. Friday is going to be the final touches day where I put that together, and I’ll post it all at like the same time.

I’m working on refining Cara’s face and also working on her outfit. My goal is to at least be done with all character’s high poly sculpts by the start of the semester.

it took me so goddamn long to get Cara’s face fully imported unto an NPC... seriously. bug after bug but 4 hours later I did it......

Marmoset test renders with my textures, tweaks still need to be made. Some things looked better with flipped normals but I don’t think that’s how it’s supposed to go. I finished Inga’s textures today but her skin material need some work in Marmoset. Cara’s skin varies a bit from Substance, I was still going to work on the skin a bit more in there anyway. The eyes and skin are not done. I also have these models scaled really small and that might be affecting things, for their posed version I will scale things up.

I used a layering method with quad draw and Maya’s smooth mode to make this hair. The textures were made with Hair Strand Designer.

Marmoset / Arnold

Cara’s 99% done hair. I ran out of time when doing the Marmoset renders and will do some more tomorrow, I also want to tweak some minor things. So, more pics of it tomorrow with the wireframe.

I worked around 25 hours on it over 5 days. Inga’s hair will be started on Wednesday and will be a bit simpler for time reasons.
