Team Dark skinned / Brown skinned VS. Team Light skinned .

I will never get the skin complexion battles going on these days .. Team Light skinned VS. Team Dark/Brownskinned ? Really .. At the end of the day , we're all BLACK , lets be real . Why battle against your own people over skin complexion . They say light skinned is the right skin .. What does that even mean ? Now they saying brown skinned is the CROWN skin .. And people constantly belittle the dark skinned chicks . There should be no competition really . That's beyond childish . I myself , I'm a brown skinned girl . And I'm truly proud of it . My skin is beautiful , and I'm comfortable with that . And sure I've been witness to the negativity of my skin tone , where I've been told that I'm black (duh, what you thought I was? White?).. And it was announced around me by people I knew personally that it was all about #TeamLightskinned .. At first I used to get offended by those type of comments, but as I grew up I've become comfortable with the fact that I am a brown skinned beauty . All skin tones are beautiful too me in my eyes . Whether you're light skin , caramel complexion , brown skinned , dark skinned , whatever . Black is beautiful !

And another thing that always got me was people who are clearly colored blind . I witnessed once this brown skinned girl constantly was stuck on the fact that she considered herself light skinned . Lmao , do you look at yourself in the mirror everyday ? Like really , are your colored blind at all ? Light skinned is like Gina from Martin . Dark skinned is like Alek Wek (the african supermodel) . Caramel complexion is like Tyra Banks , and Brown skinned is like Naomi Campbell . . That is all .. Need I say more ?
