Game/Survey from darkmeadow
1.What’s something you really, really like about yourself?
Um. I guess how I like seeing and making people happy. I know too many beautiful people who are unhappy. :(
And I think I have a good imagination. I just wish I was a good writer, I could make some money!
2. Do you have a favorite scary movie? If so, what is it?
Ahahahaha, yes ma’am! But I can’t choose one! I’ve loved horror movies since I was a little kid. Seriously. I remember watching Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th when I was like five.
3. Do you like rollercoasters?
YESSS! They are terrifying but I love them and it sucks that they only last for like 5 seconds. What a ripoff!
4. If the world was ending tomorrow, what is something you would regret not having done?
I don’t think we have time to list ALL my regrets (and there are MANY). A big one is not learning to tell people to fuck off when I was a kid. Still don’t have the ovaries to do it to everyone I should. :(
5. What is the name of the street you lived on when you were in 5th grade?
I think that was Letson St.
6. What is the most disappointed you have ever been with the ending of a book, movie or tv show (episode or series) and how would you have done it differently?
The Twilight saga was just horrific, along with the Fifty Shades trilogy. I wouldn’t care except online and offline friends rave about them and it makes me gag.
What would I have done differently? Well, first off, both Bella and Anatasia would have PERSONALITY AND BACKBONE! Edward and Christian wouldn’t be creepy douchebags and know about BOUNDARIES, CONSENT, and in Christian’s case, AFTERCARE. People would understand why Leah and Rosalie had every right to be bitter and angry. Sam and Emily would be shown as the assholes that they are. Imprinting would be something the wolves had to OVERCOME to be stronger. There would be no Nessie. Bella would appreciate her parents, ESPECIALLY CHARLIE wayyyyy more! God, I could go on and on!
7. If you had to eat just one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
The frozen fruit mix I got in the freezer. It’s got grapes, pineapple, strawberries, and peaches. I think I can live off that.
8. Is there a song that will always remind you of a person, time or place? What is it?
Many. I listen to music so much, almost everything, person, time in my life has at least one song.
Nobody’s Home by Avril Lavigne is just….my life, then and now:
Well I couldn’t tell you why she felt that way, She felt it everyday. And I couldn’t help her, I just watched her make the same mistakes again. What’s wrong, what’s wrong now? Too many, too many problems. Don’t know where she belongs, where she belongs. She wants to go home, but nobody’s home. It’s where she lies, broken inside.
Babygirl by Sugarland reminds me of my mama:
us, now:
Dear Mom and Dad, Please send money, I’m so broke that it ain’t funny. I don’t need much just enough to get me through.
and us one day (I hope):
Dear Mom and Dad, I’ll send money. I’m so rich that It ain’t funny. Well it oughtta be more then enough to get you through. Please don’t worry cause I’m alright, I’m stayin here at the Ritz tonight, Whatta ya know
we made our dreams come true!
Still Worth Fighting For by My Darkest Days is my BFF and me:
So take a look into my eyes one last time So we never forget The way we were before When we came alive at the moment we met This is still worth fighting Still worth fighting for
9. Do you watch TV? If so, what is currently your favorite TV show?
Technically, no. I don’t have a TV. :/ So I keep up with shows on Tumblr and online if I can find them streaming. Even though season 3 has been a huge WTF so far, Teen Wolf is still at the top of my list. I love Bob’s Burgers! Found a website with seasons 3 & 4 (Netflix only has the first two seasons) last night so I’m psyched!
10. Who is your favorite character on Sesame Street?
Big Bird, I guess. I didn’t really watch Sesame Street. I read a lot and watched soaps with my mom’s coworker. :)
11. Who is more manipulative – Nick Fury or Dumbledore?
Oh man. I have some feelings on this one. You sure you’re ready?
Ok, so, I think it’s definitely Dumbledore. I feel that not only did he manipulate Harry since the beginning, he manipulated Snape as well. He never told Harry exactly what he needed to know to succeed. With so much riding on this boy’s shoulders, you’d think he’d be a little more forthcoming with information. Instead, he played mind games so he could be the all-knowing father figure and lord it over everybody else. He knew, he knew what would happen when he had Snape give Harry Occlumency lessons. He knew what kind of damage that would incur.
But the Snape thing really gets me going. How can you ask somebody to kill you? I get that he was going to die from the curse anyway, I do. But he pretty much felt that since Snape’s soul was so marked upon already by his misdeeds, what was this one masquerading as a good deed? Also, he had to have looked the other way when The Marauders all ganged up on Snape constantly throughout their years at school. How was that ever a fair fight - 4 against 1? Huh? Tell me that! Or when Sirius lured Snape to the Shrieking Shack when there was a Werewolf Lupin? How was that overlooked?
^^^^^keeping her answer cause it’s awesome and EXACTLY how I feel!
