happy pride month to the heroes carapace and chat noir who have seen The Horrors™
cursed never stopped love i guess
yeah, the pride merch is great and all, but i can see that the designers had trouble fitting both Chat Noir and Carapace into the green! luckily, I have a solution—
highkey got hooked on adrino; actually i prefer ninoir but shh
Nino Lahiffe -> Turtle miraculous -> very long lifespan (see Master Fu)
Adrien Agreste -> Cat miraculous -> Talisman of Destruction -> very short lifespan (dies at young age)
Adrino tastes angsty guys
how to write adripace vs ninoir I don't even know. like they're separate people and very different but for some reason I keep getting worried my carapace just sounds like chat noir. ack. like if you switch the names would you know it's off or would it feel the same. idk idk. but also. carapace doEs act a little different than nino.
also I never realized how much of a romantic he also is but he's always holding doors open dramatically for alya and being all chivalrous and stuff too . and he flirts but it doesn't sound like he's trying to be charming like chat noir but like he's stating a fact instead, he's even more smooth😂 they're BOTH romantics. that's so sweet. I feel like that's not touched on much in fics but omg it has so much potential
(sketch request) one Carapace showing off his music to Chat Noir please 🥺
they r also in love 🥰🥰🥰
au where adrien searches up chat noir expecting to find ladynoir fanfics, which he did,but ALSO finding out people ship chat noir with carapace which is how he finds out he likes men and his bf (best friend but maybe it becomes boyfriend later-)
📓!
Well uh this is a bit of a more bare-bones one since this is less plotted-out than some of the others, but uh here's a little Miraculous Ladybug idea that came to me a while ago
So it's sometime around season 3, and Adrien is finally starting to realize he's developed feelings for Nino… but he's not sure what to do about it, due to him also catching feelings for someone else at the same time — specifically, Carapace.
And so Plagg, who is pretty sure he's not going to survive going through another love square's worth of nonsense (and who I guess knows Carapace's identity here, I can't remember if he does in canon), comes up with a solution for Adrien — polyamory.
Basically, Plagg suggests that Adrien could date Nino in his civilian identity, while also dating Carapace as Cat Noir. As long as he talks it over with both of them, and without saying anything that could reveal his identity, there shouldn't be a problem, right?
And after a bit of hesitancy, Adrien agrees. First he talks to Carapace, who takes to the idea pretty quickly. And once Cat Noir explains he knows his other crush in civilian life, Carapace is understanding and is okay with Cat keeping that crush's name a secret. In fact, Carapace says he's in the same situation himself, so as long as Cat's fine with him doing the same, he's down for it.
Adrien's a bit more nervous about talking to Nino, since he can't really explain why he can't divulge who his other romantic prospect is, but to his surprise and delight, Nino's okay with it too! Apparently that's due to Nino being in a somewhat similar situation himself, but Adrien doesn't dwell too much on it.
And from there on out it's basically a balance between the romance of them both falling for each other two times over, and the inherently comedic dramatic irony of the situation. Oh, and Plagg still having to suffer through said dramatic irony (whether it's better or worse for him than the alternative, he's not quite sure. He's happy for the kid, though).
