a parallel i hadn't noticed before (even though i've watched this show several times since the year it aired).

i'm writing chapter 009 of mm and i'm stoked bc i love season 3 with all my heart.

but because my plan is to do a soft-rewrite of the whole show, i keep thinking about plots down the line that i absolutely detest (sometimes the whole thing, sometimes how it was executed) but that i simply can't deviate from completely and i'm like... how am i gonna do this lmao.

like the leviathan. i think it was a weak plot line in general and honestly not a lot made sense, but i can't exactly scrap it since they're the big bad.

then there's amara. god i hate how that thing was written, executed, it was psychological TORTURE. that one scene between dean and 'teen amara' and the WEIRD TENSION BETWEEN THEM it gave me the CREEPS the whole time.

okay! chapter 8 is coming TODAY. and by today i mean before i go to sleep, which could mean 'past midnight' where i am. but it's almost done and it's a fucking ride. <3

double update coming this week. tomorrow (friday), i'm dropping an interlude (something in between chapters 7 and 8), because i just felt weird about putting it all in the same chapter. you guys will understand why.

by sunday i'll post chapter 8 of memento mori and i'm so fucking excited y'all have no idea. the 3 people reading this and holding my hand through it: i love you. let's go.

God I'm such a BUM. I don't know why I'm so blocked tbh, season 3 and 5 are my favorite seasons. Maybe that's the issue.

I'm like 'how can i make this more interesting than the original material or different enough that people would read it without getting bored?'

after having to buy a new keyboard because my old one gave up on me, i can safely say that the new chapter will be posted either tomorrow or monday <3

chapter 7 is done and it's huge D: i really thought it was gonna be smaller, but i don't know how to WRITE SMALL CHAPTERS.

anyway, i'll try and post it today, but if i can't, it'll be posted tomorrow morning for sure. it's all done, but i still need to do the ~ scripting magic ~.

and maybe give it another read just to make sure i didn't make any stupid typos or mispelled anything (cries in 'english is my third language').
