The Tale of Princess Marble

Sad Princess Marble,

In his castle of stone,

Lives in solemn silence,

So lost and alone.

He stands on his balcony,

For hours a day,

Praying a prince

Will soon come his way.

But sad Princess Marble,

Sees no hope ahead,

So one day he stops,

And in tears, sinks in bed,

Then suddenly, so suddenly,

He hears a small cry,

“Princess Marble? Are you there?

I’d like to say ‘hi’!”

He can’t believe it!

The chances were slim,

But could there be someone

Interested in him?

So he gets out of bed,

And straightens his dress,

Walking slowly, but surely,

He takes a deep breath.

And stood in the garden,

Oh, could it be?

The handsomest lad

That he ever did see.

Hair dark as midnight,

Eyes blue and bold,

A cape made of carpet,

A crown shining gold.

“My name is Prince Carpet,”

He said with a smile,

“And I’ve been looking

For you for a while,”

Overjoyed and in tears,

The Princess turned ‘round,

He ran down the stairs,

And onto the grounds,

And then there they stood,

Only meters apart,

And the Princess could feel

The ache leaving his heart,

The rest is history,

As some of them say,

The Prince was just perfect,

Days were no longer gray.

Yes, sad Princess Marble,

Was no longer so sad,

This was the most fun

That he’d ever had.

I drew this 2 days ago, but i procrastinate until now to post it. Sorry if the quality is bad, i drew this on my phone and i don't know how to configure the size (aside that i dont know how anatomy works) (*ﾉ∀`*)

I love this AU so much! i wanted to draw Prince Carpet too, but i'm still not confident enough to put my Philly online (o^ ^o)
