Homemaker VS Working Woman
Hi everyone! <3 welcome back to my blog ♡. As promised I am back with another post today. So today I would like to discuss some differences between a homemaker and a working woman and also talk about why it's okay to be a homemaker/stay-at-home wife/stay-at-home mom just as much as it is okay to be a career woman and going out there to work. I will not be looking down or rather bashing one or the other so please keep that in mind. This will not be a post like that.
Often times the position of being a housewife is looked down upon, especially today. We live in a different generation where many young women do not particularly like the idea or are very fond of being a housewife/stay-at-home mother to kids. Most times they choose having a career or rather wanting to be financially independent and not having to rely on someone else. Of course, nothing is wrong with that. Because it all comes down to personal choice. It's what makes you the happiest at the end of the day.
In the eyes of society today being a homemaker is not really considered a profession as oppose to being a doctor, lawyer, engineer because to them it is not viewed as "respectable" or "valuable".
It is sad that a lot of people think that being a homemaker is not very difficult or challenging. But the truth is that it very much is. We can even ask our own mothers and they will tell you! Being a housewife is a job. Their duty as a wife and mother starts early in the morning, ensuring the household is all clean and tidy, preparing all the meals throughout the day for the husband and kids and much more. They hardly get enough downtime for themselves. For them the household duties never ends. And the greatest of all is that they do it all with a smile on their face and zero complaints! Now i don't know about you but i think that is very admirable and i have a lot of respect for mothers 🩷. They don't even get enough praise or even an award or a paycheck for their hardwork that they do 24/7, 365 days a year.
Being a stay-at-home woman and a career woman both have their own set of challenges and triumphs. It does not make you less of a woman if you choose to work and make your own money. However, I do think that both positions should be view in equal measure. Maybe persons that are more career oriented finds fulfillment in having a 9 to 5 job and that is absolutely fine. But as for other women maybe they also find more fulfillment in the home rather than sitting in an office.
Again, it all boils down to what is right for you and the path in which you end up choosing. Whether you want to be career-oriented, family-oriented or hey, even both! And there is absolutely nothing wrong in that. As women we should respect one another. Not judge women or put down the ones who decide to be homemakers and vice versa.
Another thing we need to realize is that a woman is more than her educational qualifications. Managing an entire household takes tremendous skill.
Career-oriented persons may not want or have the time for a husband and children to care for. And that is fine if you choose to focus on your job. Maybe being a homemaker isn't for you. Maybe you are a young woman who wants a family to look after and care for and not an office job that is also fine too. God has a perfect plan for all of us. He knows us the best. He knows what we are good at, our likes and dislikes and what we can and cannot handle.
So yeah guys be a homemaker or don't be one idk it's up to you or well, God lol. That is all for today. I hope you all enjoy today's post! ♡. Feel free to let me know if you're a career-oriented person or if you lean more towards being a homemaker and as i said before you can even be both! Tell me all the things. I would loveeee to know! ~ <3
P.S. I think I'm gonna consider this as a mother's day post to all the amazing, wonderful, gorgeous and truly incredible mothers all over the world. You all are so very special and work extremely hard to take care of the home and keep the family bond intact. Your loving, caring, nurturing nature never goes unseen and we love you. You rock!!! Happy Mother's Day ! ♡ ~
