Hiii hellooo everyone!! Hope you all are doing just terrific 🥹❤️❤️. I have missed you all a tonnnn. Life's been crazy and so hectic lately. Also, HAPPY NEW YEAR (im late, i know buuuutttt better late than neverrrr) i hope everyone's year is going so amazing and everything is working out for the better and best for each and every one of you all 🩷 and if not keep praying and trusting in Jesus. God will never forsake you. He has a perfect plan for you and your life. Never lose faith and never give up. He loves and cares for you 🥹🩷🩷.

Few things I wanna mention:

So, i won't be discussing any topics right now because 1. I am very exhausted - where im from it's like close to 5 am and i haven't slept as yet - scratch that. it is 5 am. 2. I don't have any ideas/topics to talk about so i will be needing some time to brainstorm and i am open to suggestions from you all of course <3. And lastly i need to create a schedule or something so i can keep being consistent with posting on here for you all. So yeah, that's about it. Trying something new I suppose? (Wearing & Owning lipstick for the very first time - im 28 lol)

Hey guys ! (: <3 it's beeen a minute. I have missed posting so so much and you all of course and I am just so very happy to be back on here again.

So as you all can see by the title of the post it probably sounds soooooo ridiculous that I am 28 years old and have never worn or owned lipstick before buuutttt it is TRUE ! I don't know, I guess that maybe I never really cared about wearing lipstick or the thought of buying lipstick never crossed my mind. I guess maybe it was just trivial to me.

I bought my very first lipstick at the mall the other day and I am just loving it so far. I rushed home so quickly just to try it on and look at myself in the mirror like seriously. I really do love how it complements my skin tone. It matches perfectly.

Growing up, I had a lot of insecurities and I still do to this day. I mean, I'm not the most perfect/attractive human being out there. I get that. My parents were not always very nice to me when it came to my physical appearance (face). Always had to make sure that my skin was always acne free, no pimples or anything of that sort because if i had just one or two, they would make it into a big thing and i'd be considered "not pretty" or have "ugly skin" to them. I was not the most confident about how I looked because of my parents. Over the smallest things they had an issue with. Like, I would think and say to myself that my parents were concerned over the silliest and most irrelevant things when there are more important and bigger matters in the world, you know?.

My parents always had something to say about my lips and how they looked. I have darker lips. I'm brown so it is expected to have a darker lip shade. I'm not caucasian so I don't have a pink lip shade/lighter shade of lips. But somehow they really do expect me to have lighter shade of lips but it's just not possible. This is just how my lips are ! It was just constant mean comments about my lips from them. So I did felt insecure all of the time and yeah even to this day I still struggle with my confidence and insecurities but it's not constant as it was before. I am so glad now that I'm trying out lipstick for the first time and I really do feel pretty when I put it on and I don't hear those negative remarks at the back of my mind from my parents when I look into the mirror <3. I look forward to experimenting with other lip colours. Oh boy, maybe I will become addicted to buying a bunch of lipsticks haha

Growing Up Too Fast

Hellooo everyone, welcome back to my blog. It's been a minute but i am back with a new post!! <3 i've missed blogging and sharing stuff with you all 🩷🤗. Today's topic is about the newer and younger generation growing up way too fast and being pressured to fit in with society. So let's get into it!

When I was younger (a very smol potato) all I cared about was playing with my dolls, watching cartoons, reading books, colouring and having fun outside. Nowadays it's a whole different ball game. Instead of dreaming about dolls, these kids are eyeing stanley cups and designer makeup. They are practically skipping childhood and heading straight into adulthood!.

I think to myself "Are kids just growing up too fast or are us adults just getting old and a little out of touch?" Maybe it's a bit of both. Kids today are practically born with smartphones and tablets into their hands. They are always infront of a screen. Which means they are constantly being bombarded with adult stuff from day one. From Youtube to Social media such as; Instagram, Tiktok-you name it and it's all there!. Serving up everything from the latest trends - makeup tutorials to political debates. And almost a lot of the times they're not even ready for it. And then there is the pressure to fit in with everyone else. Having influencers plastered all over social media living their best lives. Honestly, it's no wonder it makes kids wanna grow up so fast.

Then suddenly it's not about wanting or playing with toys anymore. It is now about having the right clothes and how to get your skin to look like glass. The societal pressure in which kids face today is just all too much for them. What ever happened to just being a kid?.

Then when kids go to school and overhear their peers talk about dating, having sex and drinking alcohol and just being engage in a lot of adult activities is really when the real trouble begins. There is so much exposure to violent and sexual content at such a young age. Because children's brains aren't fully developed to process those things in a way that an adult brain can.

All in all, I just think that parents need to be better at parenting. Do better. Protect your kids and teach them from wrong to right and lean on Jesus for wisdom and guidance. Children need their parents to be there for them and rely on them for everything. It's a fast paced and scary world we live in today. Let kids be kids. Of course one day they will have to grow up but not right now. It's important that they have the opportunity to just be a kid and have a childhood and experience all the joys of just being a kid.
